The City of Houston!
Houston is one of the most popular cities in the United States. It is home to such gorgeous places with wondrous views and restaurants with delicious food. Scrolling down, you'll be reading all about my home city, the 4th largest city in the U.S and what it's all about!
One of Houston's wondrous sight is the Water Wall Park, designed by Philip Johnson,
more than 20 years ago! It has large amounts of water falling against a 64-foot-tall wall, showering you as you get closer. It is located on Post Oak Blvd; at the base of the Williams Tower, and you seriously cannot miss it! Going to another place, The Galleria Mall is a place you have to go. This mall is just right next to the waterfall and it isn't an ordinary mall. There are many places to eat inside, many stores for a variety of clothing, and it has an ice skating rink! Cool, right?
There are hundreds of restaurants in the city of Houston. It is considered to have one of the best culinary scenes in the country. You can find anything you are craving! For breakfast, you can go to House Of Pies! I found out about this place just a few weeks ago and I can not forget the amazing taste of the Chicken Tenders I had! For lunch, let's say that you want a delicious burger that you won't forget. Go to Hopdoddy's! This is my favorite burger place! They have mouth-watering burgers that you will never forget. I always get the El Diablo because it is spicy and I love spicy food!
For a side, they have Parmesan Fries. They make crispy french fries and they sprinkle a parmesan seasoning making it extremely savory and flavorful! Buffalo Wild Wings is another one of my favorite places to eat, I can never get enough it. They provide, not only saucy and finger-licking wings, but burgers, sandwiches, fries, and salads! B- Dubs (the nickname) has a large number amount of flavors and Hot, Mango Habnero, Honey BBQ, Asian Xing, are only some. Also, I can't forget that on Tuesday's, their traditional wings are half off!
Let's move on to some fun things to do in Houston! Cafe Mawal is the first place that comes to my mind. The setting has an amazingly chill factor that you would not want to leave. The main commodity is the smoking of Hookah! Also, something to know is that there is a belly dancing performance every Saturday which is very entertaining. Next in line is the Miller Outdoor Theatre. This theatre is for the performing arts: Music, dance, classic films and many more. Free performances start from March to October too, so go for it! In addition, Dave & Busters, Kemah Boardwalk, the Downtown Aquarium, and the Houston Zoo, are added to the list of fun and are a few more places that are very exhilarating and get's your adrenaline pumping.
Remember the saying "Houston, we have a problem" Well, this is from Johnson Space Center, the housing and training base of the nation's astronauts. Hundreds and thousands of people go there every day to view the scientific background of how JSC came to be.
Like I said, Houston is home to a number of pleasurable activities. People come and go with a smile on their face. They enjoy everything in this city and they never regret coming!
